On July 28, 2025, a mass shooting happened at 345 Park Avenue in Manhattan, New York City, United States. The shooting began at 6:28 p.m. EDT (UTC–4) when a gunman, 27-year-old Shane Tamura, fired an AR-15–style rifle inside the building, killing four people. The first shooting victim was an off-duty New York City police officer. Tamura committed suicide after hiding inside an office. It is the deadliest mass shooting in New York City since the 2000 Wendy's massacre in Queens.
